This Privacy Policy describes how EasyMonte™ (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Simulation Parameters: Initial stock price, historical returns, number of simulations, trading days, and random seed values you enter to run simulations.
  • Preset Configurations: Custom preset names and simulation parameters you choose to save.
  • Chat Messages: Text you enter when using the AI chat assistant.
  • OpenAI Configuration: If you choose to enable AI features, your OpenAI API key and Vector Store ID.
  • Imported Files: Financial return data you import from CSV, JSON, or text files on your device.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Subscription Status: Whether you have an active premium subscription, managed through Google Play Billing.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
  • We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or browsing history.
  • We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or tracking tools.

2. How Your Information Is Stored

All user-entered data (simulation parameters, presets, settings, and subscription status) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is not transmitted to our servers. We do not operate backend servers that receive or store your data.

3. How Your Information Is Shared with Third Parties

3.1 OpenAI (Optional — User-Initiated)

If you choose to enable AI features and provide your own OpenAI API key, certain data is sent to OpenAI’s API services:

  • Chat messages you type are sent to the OpenAI Chat Completions API to generate AI responses.
  • Simulation results may be uploaded to your OpenAI Vector Store if you use the “Save to AI Memory” feature.
  • Previous chat messages in the current conversation are included for context when generating responses.

This data is sent directly from your device to OpenAI using your own API key. Sdot Solutions, LLC does not have access to your OpenAI API key or the data you transmit. OpenAI’s use of this data is governed by OpenAI’s Privacy Policy and Usage Policies.

You can disable AI features at any time in the app settings.

3.2 Google Play Billing

If you purchase a premium subscription, transaction processing is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information (credit card number, billing address, etc.). Google’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

3.3 File Sharing

When you export simulation results, the App uses your device’s system share sheet. The exported file is shared only with the app or service you select. We do not receive or store exported files.

4. Data We Do Not Share

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not share data with advertising networks.
  • We do not share data with data brokers.
  • We do not use data for purposes unrelated to the App’s functionality.

5. Data Security

  • All data is stored locally on your device.
  • Your OpenAI API key is stored on-device and transmitted only to OpenAI’s servers over HTTPS.
  • We do not operate servers that store your data, so there is no centralized database that could be breached.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • All App data is stored on your device and can be deleted at any time by clearing the App’s data in your device settings or uninstalling the App.
  • Data sent to OpenAI (if AI features are enabled) is subject to OpenAI’s data retention policies.

7. Children’s Privacy

EasyMonte™ is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Permissions

The App uses the following device permissions:

Billing Process subscription purchases through Google Play
Vibrate Optional haptic feedback

The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or storage beyond the specific files you choose to import.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
